Yesterday, we raised $1,400 for Easter Seals kids with physical difficulties. Woot Woot! Such a great day and a great charity.

T&J Seafoods hosts a toy collection every year during the Christmas season and donates all gifts and proceeds to the new Toys for Needy Kids Toy Drive.

June is ALS awareness month. T&J Seafoods contributes to the local ALS chapter on behalf of one of our founders J.S. Jardine who succumbed to this horrible disease.

Hey all. We can't wait for the weekend, or any day off right now. Why? Fresh Alaskan Sockeye has arrived, and putting it on a cedar plank and then on the BBQ is a summertime ritual with us. Combine that with some of that fresh corn, and peas from @herrles_market and dinner is complete. This week fresh Sockeye salmon fillets are $17.99/lb., and cedar planks are $3.00 each. Wow, isn't summer eating the best?

Hey everybody. Time to fire up the BBQ, if you haven't already. This week due to a glut of fresh Atlantic Salmon fillets on the market the price has taken a big hit. The price has dropped from 13.99lb. earlier this year to 9.99lb this week. What perfect timing for a meal or two of grilled salmon with mango salsa, or maybe a maple teriyaki glaze. We do not know if this is a forever price, or just for now. So maybe you can give us a call and we can vacuum seal some for your freezer.

This week we stopped by on Monday for our steelhead trout fix. Always great. We also needed a boost because our battery died in the parking lot. Amazing smoked salmon!!!! T&J's were a staple food on our 13 person, 720 km snowshoe expedition crossing Ontario from Lake Superior to James Bay this past winter. We used their smoked salmon for breakfast and dinner and our favorite was our salmon Alfredo for dinners. After a long hard day on the trail, when word got around that it was salmon for supper everyone's spirits perked up and got the work done faster. Thank you so much for supporting our expedition with so much quality food. We are so grateful to have had it along for the long walk with us. Just picked up Arctic Char Used mix of rosemary ,olive oil, sherry juice and zest of one lime and two crushed garlic cloves which I basted over filet, skin side down which had fresh ground pepper and dash of ground Himalayan pink salt. Placed in preheated 400degree oven for 12 minutes ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Melted in our mouth. Thanks again for an absolutely phenomenal gastric treat.

Unbelievably good smoked salmon. Not salty wet and fishy like the commercial stuff - this stuff is firm, buttery, fresh and smoky. Also great for fresh seafood, and the staff is super friendly. Glad I found T&J within a few months when I moved here more than 10 years ago, as I've been enjoying it ever since!
